“An Inspiring Story About How A Girl's Connection

With Her Grandfather & Nature Have The Power To Change The World”

"We're connected to the trees, Violet, whether we're awake or dreaming the trees are always with us, our traveling companions as we go around the sun."

-The Last Flower

This story takes place on a little brown planet where green leaves and purple flowers are things Violet has never seen. One day, Violet's grandfather tells her about a dream he had. In it, he is walking through the forest and he happens upon a tree with a purple flower resting on its branch. He reaches for the flower, but it blows away. The grandfather explains to her that the dream is something more. Violet goes on a search to find out if this is true. This is a story about how a girl's connection with her grandfather and with nature have the power to change the world.
